Our 11 x 4K 60" screens and projector can display photos, videos, or anything else you want your guests to see. The bar and ceiling lighting changes to millions of colours, so we can match your party theme exactly.

18th Birthday Parties
Turning 18 is a big deal. Our venue on the Albert Dock gives you a proper backdrop for the occasion. We can section off part of the first floor for smaller groups, or take on the whole venue if the guest list has grown. Our lighting can be set to any colour scheme, and the screens are yours to use for photos or playlists. Under-16s are welcome until 10pm on the ground floor, so younger family members can join the celebration too.
21st Birthday Parties
A 21st calls for something memorable. Our two-floor venue on the Royal Albert Dock has the space and the setting. We can arrange DJs, a dance floor, and use our commercial sound system across both floors. Our cocktail team have experience from venues listed among the World's 50 Best Bars, so the drinks will be taken care of. Come by for a tasting beforehand and we can put together the right options for your night.
30th Birthday Parties
Thirty deserves a proper celebration. Our venue accommodates groups from a handful of close friends to a full 150-guest party. You can decorate the space to your taste before the event. We handle the entertainment logistics, from connecting your DJ to our professional sound system to setting up LED dance floors. The historic dock features around you provide a setting that stands out from a standard function room.
40th Birthday Parties
For a 40th, you want somewhere that makes an impression. The Long Shot sits within the Grade I Listed Royal Albert Dock, surrounded by 175 years of maritime history and stunning original dock features. Inside, the venue is modern and fully adaptable. You can bring your own food or use our in-house buffet options. We can also host independent pop-up food vendors to tailor the catering to your occasion.
50th Birthday Parties
A 50th is worth marking properly. Our venue gives you the flexibility to host the party your way. Use our 4K screens and projector to run a slideshow of the last five decades. Our staff will work with you on every detail, from the lighting colours to the drink options. Mid-week bookings for smaller groups can often be arranged with no minimum spend, making it straightforward to plan without a large budget.
60th Birthday Parties
For a 60th celebration, our venue offers a comfortable and impressive setting. The ground floor is wheelchair accessible with a ramp, so all guests can attend with ease. You can hire a section of the venue or take on the whole space. Our team will handle the setup and coordination, so you can focus on enjoying the evening. Costs - Free Hire
The venue is FREE to hire all week with achievable minimum spends that reflect the day of the week. You can choose to take 1 floor or the whole venue. Don't need a full floor? We can book sections for you with no minimum spends, Sunday - Thursday, date depending! We're really flexible, so just reach out for a chat with us and we can talk through options.
Weekends
Minimum Spend = the total amount you and your guests must spend on the occasion - this is made up of all drink & food spend.
Firstly, you are only required to hire part of the venue. Our venue can be sectioned into floors and sections to suit group size.
We don't charge a venue hire cost - we agree on a minimum spend for food and drink by yourself and guests (this is always achievable!). Get in touch, and we will create a package that serves your requirements and your pocket! We can also set a fixed party venue hire cost if a minimum spend is not suitable.

NOTE: We understand everyone's budget differs - the above table is only a guide. It's noteworthy to remember that guests meet most minimum spend requirements. All spending within the venue contributes towards minimum spend. Contact us to discuss your budget and plans - we always do our best to accommodate. Minimum spending will vary enormously based on the time of year and day of the week, with Fridays & Saturdays being the most expensive (obviously!).
